The Biscuit Factory Foundation is the newly formed charity of the UK’s largest independent art gallery The Biscuit Factory. The charity aims to nurture and develop the practice and appreciation of the visual arts in the North East of England. To launch the charity the Foundation presents Young Artists of the Year 2011 in association with Culture Magazine and sponsored by Winsor & Newton and Blackwell’s.
